Una cosa que me hace guardar cierta precaución con el hierro, es el hecho de que es muy fácil reciclarlo. Mientras mas hierro se introduce al mercado, mas hierro hay para reciclar y los procesos extractivos comienzan a ser menos competitivos.

Pero en cuanto a CAP, lo bueno que tiene es que es capaz de diversificarse y no quedarse solo con el hierro si no que es capaz de diversificarse. En estos momentos vende agua de su planta desalinizadora, energía solar y está mojandose las patitas en el cobre y las tierras raras (indispensables para todos los apratos electrónicos, incluyendo todo el arsenal de guerra de alta tecnología de USA).

Y la empresa sigue generando ingresos a pesar del mal año.

Sirve para ver el comportamiento del hierro, pero sería mejor en otro tema, ya que en el diario no tienen relación directa.

no pero hay un plazo para retorno , ve la tendencia de fines de abril aun cuando la recomendacion era neutral los que le hicieron caso lo hicieron creyendo que el timming era el correcto cuando no habia base para esto fuese asi , en un analisis de largo plazo claro remontara porque los fundamentales son ciclicos pero s estas en un periodo de alta volatilidad y te ponen un precio asi y le CREES es porque crees que es el timming para hacer una buena pasada y no fue asi..

El precio del hierro desde el punto de vista de los funadmentales no sirve para hacer trade dia a dia , solo para periodos superiores porque solo en esos plazos el precio de la accion reflejas los flujos futuros en valor presente en el dia a dia no estoy seguro de eso pero diria que no loq ue de ninguna manera implica que la relacion sea espuria

y el hierro peor, hace una semana corto pa abajo la media 200 dias (indicador muy relevante en commodities)

No es una regresion lineal valida.... porque no es lineal. Si nos ponemos a buscar correlaciones con regresiones cuadraticas o de distinto orden todo se correlaciona con todo.

No entiendo bien ese gráfico de Ratixx, los puntitos son precio diario? Por qué no hay cientos de puntos, para 2 años de datos? Por qué cada valor de Fe sólo tiene un valor de CAP (salvo un par de excepciones)?
Entiendo que el gráfico no considera el tiempo, pero qué pasa si, por decir una tontera, en meses de verano la correlación es ~100% y en invierno es nula? No se vería eso en un gráfico así, me imagino.

La correlacion no sirve para hacer trading.

El precio del Hierro, te puede dar un felling del papel, pero para utilizarlo bien tienes que estar muy metido en el mercado.

cierto! es un guiamiento mas que el precio hay que analizar la tendencia como dices la media de 200 dias y tambien como se comportan los futuros te da una idea de como se podria mover la accion pero en ningun caso anticiparte al dia a dia con un alto nivel de confianza

El cobre y el oro, hoy y hace varios dias a la baja. Me refiero al resto. Si miras los graficos de los ultimos meses, varios han rebotado, la tendencia es global. Mi opinion y de varios que he leido , es que ya tocaron piso, pero probablemnete algunos vayan en busca del soporte nuevamente para rebotar. Mañan es un dia importante en noticias..(informe de empleo de USA)

Aunque el modelo de CAP esta mas relacionado con el Mineral de Hierro que con el acera no es una noticia menor
